Yesterday I had the honor of running the Laurel Riverfest 5k with my dad – he’s been training super-hard and he really wanted to break 30:00 in his first 5k. I am home for the weekend (it’s fall break at UVA, which basically means “Let’s trick the students into thinking they have a weekend off, but really we just assign tons of homework” *evil laugh*) so of course I signed up to run the 5k with him!
