RunningWarehouse – Awesome sale
Just a short post to let everyone know about the awesome sale going on right now at Running Warehouse. They sent me an email advertising their 30-50% off sale selection on Wednesday, and when I saw that my favorite Saucony Triumph 6 was on sale… well, I had to do it. The shoes normally run me about $110 after my discount for being in the local running club is taken into account, but on RunningWarehouse.com they were on sale for 70 – that’s $40 dollars off already!
Then the deal got even sweeter. If I bought two pairs they would be $60 each. Almost half off! Combine that with a 15% off coupon and I ended up getting both pairs of shoes for just a little over $100. That’s right. Two pairs for the cost of one.
And did I mention that 2 day shipping is free? Sure enough, the shoes I ordered on Wednesday arrived today, as promised.

My herd of Saucony Triumph 6s. Yes. I have four pairs. You're jealous, I know. They're the best shoes I've found for my high arches, wimpy forefeet (I need cushioning, okay?) and neutral stride.
** Those are my new YANKZ laces on the new blue Triumphs (bottom left). They’re pretty awesome so far, although I think I have them laced too tightly. Jury does not have a definitive answer at this time on whether they’re better than good ol’ regular laces.
Definitely check out RunningWarehouse if you are in the market for a new pair of shoes, or if you just want to stock up on a few pairs of an old favorite. The reason my Sauconys are on sale is because the Triumph 7 just came out, so the 6 is now the “old” model. However, based on the review of the new shoe by RunnersWorld, which tells us that the new model is stiffer and 2oz heavier, I think I’ll be sticking to the 6s for now.
How about you guys? Do you have any favorite running gear sites? Share them in the comments section!
